I didn't know where else to put this...

Ok, so I have a button (AS2). When I press the left key it's supposed to go to frame two, but whenever I publish preview I get an error. (Here's the error and the AS):

**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Layer 1, frame=1:Line 1: Expected a field name after '.' operator.
symbol_2.on(KeyPress "Left")= function() {

By the way, I'm using Flash 8, which I just got the other day, so I don't really know if there are any script differences from CS4.

when you created the file
was it 2.0 then i could help you...
the code would look like this

on (keyPress "") {
gotoAndPlay(2);

}

that would make it go to the second frame when you click the left arrow key
